Linux Reviews

The following table lists all the reviews that have been posted on Everyday Linux User.

The buy links take you to OSDisc.com

If you admire a particular Linux distribution or you are a distro developer get in touch by emailing everydaylinuxuser@gmail.com. All I need is the name of the distribution and a download link and maybe a bit of a background.

Getting a review is 100% free.

To write a review I install the Linux distribution to the hard drive of one of my computers and then use it over a period of at least 5 days. I then write my findings as I see them.

To make it easier for everyone who wants to read my Ubuntu based articles and tutorials I have formatted them, rewritten them and added extra content which has resulted in the eBook "From Windows To Ubuntu".

The book isn't massive like a SAMS guide so it isn't going to take you forever to read it but there is certainly a lot of content.

  5. I have actually written one for Crunchbang now. I will update this list. I haven't done Antix or SliTaz yet.

  6. I have XUBuntu 13.04 on a Dell Precision Laptop. It's magnificent! With BitTorrent Sync, Owncloud Client and a couple of other gadgets. You want a review of that? And maybe a tutorial on customisation? It looks a little like a mac, but with Windows 7/8 icons :) I can't help it. Every distro I've installed gets "Frankesteined". :)

  7. You should review Netrunner
